some good news.

We have not had a lot of good things to say about the recent closures of our fishing industry lately. However after a few recent meetings with the ASMFC, the State and other organizations we have finally been HEARD.!!! This past week many of us have spent HOURS of time to PROTECT OUR rights to fish for sea bass and fluke which are certainly NOT endangered.!! Anyone who has fished in NJ waters knows there are PLENTY of sea bass and fluke out there. The Federal government (NOAA and NMFS) has used FATALLY FLAWED data (which was used to protect US waters from foreign fisheries) to go against the economy of the AMERICANS.!! This is the worst economy we have seen since the 1920's. President Obama is trying to get the American economy back on it's feet while the people he appointed are having a negative "trickle down" effect on our businesses in New Jersey. What's WRONG with this picture.???? We want to take this time to thank Tony B, Ed Y, Jim C, for all the work they have done to keep fishing ALIVE in NJ.
